As an experienced Embryologist within our laboratory, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient outcomes while working alongside a highly skilled and supportive multidisciplinary team of clinicians, nurses and scientists.
You will contribute to maintaining Melbourne IVF’s long-standing reputation for clinical excellence, robust laboratory governance, and scientific innovation.
Your responsibilities will include (but is not limited to):
Oocyte pick up
Sperm preparation
Denuding
IVF insemination
Embryo transfer
ICSI
Embryo biopsy for PGT
Oocyte and embryo vitrification and warming
Daily laboratory quality control, monitoring and equipment validation
Maintaining laboratory systems, documentation and compliance standards
Working closely with clinicians, nurses and scientific colleagues
Supporting continuous improvement, training, and the development of best-practice laboratory procedures

Requirements
Essential Requirements
Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Embryologist
Proven experience in advanced embryology procedures, including blastocyst biopsy
Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a proactive mindset
Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science (Master’s degree preferred)
