Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Medical Lab Technician Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours Employment Type: Travel About the Position Specialty: Cytotechnologist (Cyto Tech) Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent experience in cytology License: State license required if applicable Certifications: ASCP certification preferred; BLS required; all certifications must be submitted with expiration dates Must-Have: All time-off requests must be submitted with the initial application Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented Cytotechnologist (Cyto Tech) to examine cell samples under a microscope to detect abnormalities and assist in the diagnosis of diseases, including cancer. A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a cytology lab is required. The candidate must be proficient in screening gynecologic and non-gynecologic specimens. This position may involve rotating shifts, weekend/holiday coverage, and potential cross-training . Compliance and onboarding typically take 4–6 weeks . A voice screening and hiring manager interview are required. Missed shifts must be made up per department guidelines.
