Description

Columbus Center for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility is a growing reproductive specialty practice in Southwest Georgia. We are the only reproductive specialist in the southwest Georgia area. We see patients from all over Georgia, Alabama, and neighboring states. We currently looking for a full-time embryologist to grow with us. 

Responsibilities:
CCREI employees maintain patient care as their main priority, even if that means doing something that isn’t specifically our “job.” In general, the Embryologist is responsible for: 
•    Identification, assessment, and culture of oocytes
•    Sperm preparation and insemination of oocytes
•    ICSI, Assisted Hatching
•    Embryo grading
•    Assessment and selection of embryos for transfer
•    Embryo vitrification, storage, and thawing
•    Oocyte vitrification, storage, and thawing
•    Cryopreservation of embryos, oocytes, and sperm
•    Preparation of all medial used with human gametes
•    Diagnostic semen analysis with morphology
•    Assist with PESA collection
•    Preparation and care of gametes/embryos throughout the laboratory process of IVF, ICSI, VIT, ET, Thawing, and PGT
•    PGT Biopsy
•    Maintain accurate laboratory records
•    Perform quality control procedures
•    Coordinate care with clinical staff and providers
•    Ensure all patient information is documented appropriately
•    Weststat
•    Other duties as assigned



Requirements

Qualifications:
•    5+ years of experience in clinical embryology
•    Bachelor of Science in Biology, Chemistry, or Reproductive Biology; Master’s Degree preferred
•    Ability to work independently with minimal supervision,
•    Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
•    Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, particularly around complex issues.
•    Advanced computer skills, spreadsheets, EMR, databases
•    Ability to work in a high standard, fast-paced, stressful environment with strong attention to detail
•    Willingness and ability to develop interpersonal working relationships
